A LITTLE ABOUT ME

As a teenager, I had the amazing opportunity to travel across Europe. What I saw and experienced made me want to become a photographer, so I could share what I have seen with others. I continued to travel regularly, while I honed my photography skills. I became a professional photographer in 2005, when I was sent to live for a month in Southern France by the Red Bicyclette winery. It was a photo taken on my very first trip to Europe, that resulted in my being asked to photograph and blog about the French region of Provence, surrounding their vineyard.

I have had the opportunity to work in a number of different commercial photo studios across Dallas as well as Houston. I have learned a great deal as I have worked side by side and collaborated with many very experienced studio and fashion photographers over the years.

I now live and shoot out of my own 3rd floor loft studio, renovated from a 100 year old building. I am Centrally located between DFW and Austin, so I can cover quite a bit of ground. I am based just 1 hour South of Dallas, in Hillsboro, Texas.

I provide beautiful and unique portraiture in my studio by incorporating natural light or with the use of professional studio lighting. I also provide outdoor photography on location by incorporating a combination of natural light and portable flash.

I have a great love for what I do, and love the chance to share my creative work with others. I was married in 2010, and continue to work and travel alongside my wife, Robin. She has given me a fresh new perspective of the world, which has further enhanced my creative style.
